Sculptra
Technology in use
Poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) used in Sculptra is a dermal filler that stimulates collagen production in the skin. In other words, when Sculptra is injected into certain areas of the body, it slowly returns volume by activating the body’s production of collagen gradually. This doesn’t mean that every person who uses Sculptra will require several treatments to get the best results since not all individuals respond to treatment in the same way. Sculptra is known for its long-lasting and subtle rejuvenating effects on facial appearance which stay up to two years or even longer.
What does it help with?
- facial volume restoration
- wrinkle correction
- collagen stimulation
How does it work?
Sculptra works by being carefully injected into the deep dermis layer of the skin. Once administered, the poly-L-lactic acid particles stimulate collagen synthesis, resulting in a gradual improvement in the skin's thickness and elasticity. Unlike some other dermal fillers, Sculptra does not provide immediate results. Instead, the effects develop over several months, creating a more natural and subtle enhancement.
